Hi, I'm Charlotte. I’m a 5th grade Waldorf student who loves nature, creating art, and music. Nature creates the most incredible ingredients to nourish our bodies. Every ingredient I use is organic and every lip balm is filled with love.
I was inspired to create Frosty Acorn Organics to sell at my school's Winter Faire festival, after my aunt showed me how to make a batch to give to family and friends as gifts. From there, the idea grew into a chance for me to learn about business. It has been an amazing learning experience to see how much it costs to launch a business that is based on wonderful ingredients.
This has also been a great opportunity for me to see how math is used by paying interest on the business loan my parents gave me, working up supply costs, and figuring out how profits really work.
Oh, and in regards to our name...there is a squirrel that perches on the fence outside my window, that I named Frosty. Sometimes she naps, sometimes she’s munching on acorns to prepare for the winter ahead. This is how the Frosty Acorn name came to be.
